okokumo

Terms of Service

1. The service

okokumo (“we”, “us”) provides infrastructure monitoring — HTTP(S) checks, heartbeat/cron monitoring, TLS/domain expiration monitoring, and alerting — to organizations (“Customer”, “you”) under these Terms of Service (the “Agreement”).

2. Accounts and organizations

Signing up creates an organization with you as its owner. Owners and admins may invite team members and assign roles (owner, admin, member). You're responsible for your account's security and for actions taken under it.

3. Plans and billing

A Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business) are available, each with its own check limits and minimum check interval — see the billing page for current pricing. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe; VAT is calculated automatically based on your location (Stripe Tax). You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal, accessible from your billing page.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Monitor infrastructure you don't own or aren't authorized to monitor.
  • Configure alert-channel destinations you don't control (e.g. someone else's email/Slack).
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or authentication.
  • Transmit special category personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) through monitored URLs or alert content.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees absent a separately agreed SLA. Planned maintenance, when possible, is communicated in advance. See live status.

6. Data protection

Our processing of your Personal Data is governed by our Privacy Policy and, for Customers acting as data controllers, our Data Processing Agreement.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, okokumo's liability under this Agreement is limited to the fees paid by Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim, except for liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by French law. See our legal notices for our registered details and competent jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active account owners in advance where reasonably possible.
